  • Using ZBrush to Create Game-Ready Assets from 3D Scan Data

    Aug 12, 2020 · 19:15 Making Texture Maps. Navigate to Plugins and under Multi Map Exporter switch on all texture maps (Normal, Texture from Polypaint, Ambient Occlusion, Cavity, Export Mesh). Click Create All Maps. This will export the textures and the mesh. Note that exported mesh from ZBrush will be faceted and need to be smoothed.

    I dont use the uv plugin in ZB for anything else than fine detail on models because 3D apps have more familiar tools. This doesnt mean you cant tho. You could put the image on your desktop, flatten out the head/face uvs of the model, make the ZB interface semi transparent (slider at the top) and move the uvs around to fit the image underneath.
